Slovakia’s southernmost ski resort is becoming increasingly popular, and not only across the southern regions. You can enjoy a full skiing experience just an hour and half’s drive away from Bratislava.

In addition to a children’s lift, we have the Ski School here for families with children so that even parents can find enough time to ski as much as they want.

Corporate clients will appreciate the fact that they don’t need to bring their own skis and equipment to a teambuilding ski event. They can hire everything they need, quickly and simply.

Don’t forget to carry a warm ski jacket, goggles and other warm gear.

Parking lots are available free of charge.

Ski resort

The Salamandra Hotel ski resort is located near Banská Štiavnica.

Equipped with snowmaking technology, the resort offers the ideal conditions for family skiing holidays.

The ski piste of medium difficulty is suitable for both complete beginners and intermediate skiers. A four-person chairlift with canopies will take you to the top of the 1,450-meter-long run, whilst protected against bad weather conditions. Access to the chairlift is through contactless turnstiles.

An easy slope serviced by a T-bar lift is available to all beginners. Even the youngest ones can learn skiing here, and later enjoy a true skiing experience.

Parking

There is free parking for visitors with a capacity of 150 seats.

Ski rental

At the foot of the slope you will find our ski rental shop, fully equipped and supplied so that you do not have to bring any ski equipment with you. We offer complete ski and snowboard sets by renowned brands in sufficient quantities and in all sizes.

If you discover a fault with your equipment, bring your skis or other gear to our service shop and let our staff repair it or adjust it correctly. Repairs and servicing provided instantly.

Haven´t had time to properly maintain ski gear, our services include edge sharpening and waxing.

Ski school

We always keep even the littlest ones in mind and want them to have the most beautiful winter memories.

We have a handy ski school for you and your children. Our experienced instructors will guide the kids from the basic postures through the first turns on the slope to a smooth ride downhill. They will also teach them to ski safely and mindfully.

You may choose between individual and group practice lessons. For a more demanding clientele, we have VIP ski lessons available with the best of our instructors teaching you or your children.

The ski school can be found by the chairlift valley station where we will also be happy to give you more information and answer any of your questions.
