Deep in the heart of the Štiavnica Hills, far from big cities but still close enough for a comfortable drive, you’ll find Hotel Salamandra. There, the beauty of the countryside combines with the rich heritage of our ancestors and with quality service.
In addition to families, we are also a suitable destination for corporate events and business meetings; we can comfortably accommodate up to 130 guests.
Parking
There are plenty of parking spaces available for guests directly in front of the hotel, from where guests can walk dry-foot to the reception. For visitors to the resort, there is an additional large car park with a capacity of 150 spaces, close to the cable car, only about 100 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Salamandra is the perfect place for families to stay and take away the best memories. Childhood is about discovering and experiencing something new, and our hotel and the surrounding area are perfect for this. Kids can experience their first forest bike ride, catch their first fish, learn about medicinal herbs and collect mushrooms, care for animals, discover mining history and much more.

The southernmost ski resort with a chairlift in Slovakia is gaining more and more fans - and not only among the southern regions. After all, you can enjoy full-fledged skiing just 1.5 hours from Bratislava. The intermediate slope is suitable for beginners and less experienced skiers. A four-seater chairlift with bubbles takes you to the top of the 1,450-metre-long slope, protecting you from the vagaries of the weather.
Ideal location, good accessibility and quick arrival from Bratislava and other parts of Slovakia make the hotel an optimal place for organising various congresses and conferences. Since corporate clients make up almost half of our guests, we have extensive experience preparing such activities.
