Hotel Salamandra's location is an ideal starting point for family bike tours or corporate cycling. After all, the Salamandra Trail and the Prachovňa trail pass through the Salamandra Resort directly. The slope is crossed by the Great Hodruš Circuit and Mikovíni's Green Ride. These routes are part of the extensive Bajkom k tajchom system of cycling routes.
The cycle routes are divided into four areas - Hodrušská, Belianská, Banskoštiavnická and Vyhnianska. These areas have 15 cycle paths and 11 shorter links, allowing a smooth transfer from one route to another. This system comprises a total of almost 350 km of signposted trails.
Each route has a detailed description where you can find data such as elevation profile, difficulty, surface type, metres climbed, and GPS data download for navigation.

We will happily take you in our 9-seater vehicle to the Red Well if you wish. You can then comfortably complete the 209-metre ascent and join the Upper Hodruš circuit - 7 km back to the hotel - or take any other route you like.
From May onwards, a cable car ride will also be available every weekend, which is even quicker and more comfortable.
